valve train components
welli am putting a b16 head on a b18c1 block with je pistons, i want to go ahead and upgrade teh valve train in teh 1st gen b16 head. i called acura and a set of type r valve springs are 171 bux and the type r retainers are 40 bux. before i buy these do you guys think these parts will be ok or should i go ahead and get aftermarket? if so what should i get from what company?
also one more thing the b16 head is on my b16 block now in my car and is running fine. should i replace the actual valves too or can i keep the ones that are in there? thanx guys

also what else should i replace in the b16 head besides the valve springs, retainers, and valves? is there anything i should that im not thinking about?

you should be able to find a set of springs/retainers used for cheaper then that. id do a little shopping. But if you are planning on sticking with just type r cams then ya... just stick wit hthe r valvetrain. OEM is the best unless its no longer possible...
