Valve Cover Screw Broke in Half and Drive AXLE HELP!
I guess i overtightend one of my Valve Cover screws on my D16y8 closest to the AC Compressor. The threading broke in half so half the screw is screwed in the other half (the top of the bolt) just sits on the valve cover. Can i run my engine on three valve cover screws? IF not how can i remove the broken screw i heard i can use a drill ? How do i use the drill to remove it?
SECOND QUESTION
I have my driver side drive axle hanging out with just the bearings and boot is there any easy way to get it back into the tranny i tried pushing my spindle in to allow my driveaxle to clear my tranny so that it can slide back in its place
OTHER WORDS and easy way installing the driveaxle into the tranny ? I already have it connected to my wheel side.

Re: (EX-T)
I wouldn't drive it far, take it to a machine shop and have them take it out and put a new stud in
The drive shaft it would be easy to take it off the wheel to get it lined up

to remove the broken screw/bolt
you are going to need a screw/bolt extractor.
there are a few types:
A. easy-out: a drilling head plus a "sprial" bolt extractor in one
B. "spiral" type bolt/screw extractor
C. Square type bolt/screw extractor
To use them you are going to need a pretty powerful electric drill.
Easy-out requires a reversible power drill,
the others can be used with a one-way drill and a tap Wrench
------------
Easy-out method: I don't recommend this for tough jobs
1. Buy easy-out kit with the right size that you need, follow directions from package
Other method: using square shaped bolt/out and tap wrench
1. Find a strong metal drilling, drill bit that is smaller than the bolt that you want to take out.
2. slowly drill into the bolt MAKING SURE THAT YOU ARE DRILLING STRAIGHT INTO THE CENTER!!!!!!!! if you don't your going to screw up the surrounding. make sure u pause and apply drilling lube (wd-40 works) cause metal drilling metal gets hot..
3. after you have gone in the desired amount - about an inch - clear the hole of any shards. Put the bolt extractor into the tap wrench, and lightly tap in the bolt extractor into the drilled hole
4. turn the tap wrench counter clockwise. it should come out
this method i learned from a guy on h-t though i cannot find the thread...

Re: (92EG8)
i had a broken stud on my z6
i was able to take a hammer and a small flat head and actually hammer it out. hit it at an angle to make it twist left to unskrew
try that before drilling anything
