valve cover and oil

Default valve cover and oil

after i remove the valve cover should i remove all of the oil inside the cover and when i put it back on should i re lubricate the inside?

I always clean mine out when I pull it off (not that I get any sludge in my engine anyway). Then just put it back on. The cover just keeps the oil inside the engine, and as soon as you turn the motor over it will be covered with oil again. It doesn't make contact with anything inside the engine, so it doesn't need to be 'lubed' when installed.
