valve cover help
i broke threads on one of the bolt s that hold on the valve cover when i was trying to take it off to put on new seals.. it was extremly rusted and now i cant get it off.. im not sure what to do because now oil is leaking through slowly.. what can i do to get this problem resolved so i dont have a leak anymore..

DO NOT DO THAT. To save you a massive amount of time and trouble, go to the dealership, if it is a d-series you can go to honda, if it is a b-series go to either honda or acura, if you go to honda tell them it is from a b16(all b-series are interchangeable) and ask the parts guy for a new bolt. All you have to do is take your valve cover off, and the bolt is connected to the head by threads. You will need a deep socket, either 10mm or 12mm I can't remember. If it is the outer bolts, they are the small bolts, if it is the inner ones, they are the longer bolts. The parts guy will ask you this. The bolt is like 6 bucks for 1. I have done this twice. Once with the outer bolt, once with an inner bolt. It takes all of 5 minutes to replace. BTW. Your welcome in advance.
