Valve Cover Gasket
hey i need a walkthrough on how to change a Valve Cover Gasket on a 1993 honda civic del sol s. I would have searched for it but i am short on time and i have to run to work so this is the best way for me to find out.

Hmmm...no real walk through but here goes.
1- remove spark plug wires (take note of which one plugs into which hole).
2- remove all nuts and ground form cover.
3- disconect hose at the back of the cover.
4-remove cover
5- remove old gasket
6- line up nes gasket correctly in the valve cover while its upside doen (ther is a right way and a wrong way so pay attention to the gasket and the groves in the valve cover)
7- scrape any old gasket sealer off with a putty knife from the cam cap areas (the arching part of the motor that goes over the cams)
8- apply a small amount of gasket sealer to the corners and arcs of the new gasket while seated in cover
9-carefully place cover back on...check all around the cover to make sure tha gasket is sealed properly and not pinched.
10- torque down bolts starting from where the plug wires go and then workig your way around the outside.
Best i can do from memory
