valve cover differences?

valve cover differences?
I am doing the mini-me swap on to my 89 Civic Si. I have a 95 Civic Ex head and just finished rebuilding it. When I bought the head, it didn't include the valve cover. My question is what year Civics will the valve cover fit on to a 95 vtec head? I've been told that only a 95 Ex/Si valve cover will work.

92-95 EX/Si.. as long as it's the D16Z6 it'll work... Just remember that some of the Vtecs didn't have the Vtec logo on the valve cover and also by looking at the valve cover, the spark plug openings will be towards the front of the valve cover and the non-vtec will be towards the rear.
