Well i used degreaser on my valve cover and it took off a good amount but not HUGE difference. Inside there was, but not a major change on the outside. Should i be ok. I wish i could get the letters cleaner. Any tricks? Maybe i should just paint the letters too. Its an d16y7 cover getting painted wrinkle red

Two words: Simple Green
Cleaned my valve cover with this stuff and it shines it good.

is that suff really good. I used grease lighting i think it was. 2.97 from autozone, lol.

pick up some simple green and since you're gonna be at autozone get this stuff called Gunk Engine cleaner. White spray can orange top. AWESOME STUFF!!!!
