P1508 and bucking- tried everything
97 HX 5spd. Bone stock 220k
Got code P1508 along with surging issues when off throttle and very low idle-5-600 low to the point where the its not smooth when sitting. I replaced my IAC with one from the junkyard and having the same exact issues. Bled coolant to make sure all air was gone. Checked for vac leaks and couldnt find anything. Cleaned throttle body.
I do have a hairline crack in the header but its small and has been there for a while. You can not hear any exhaust leak at all. I planned on replacing it when it got loud but its got the cat attached so its expensive. I have reset the ecu and relearned idle multiple times. I have googled for days and am not coming up with much. Any help is much appreciated.
