it's pretty easy. Just get a Helms.

I took apart and assembled a B18C5 with my Helms. And it started on the first try, and actually runs pretty good.

valve adjustment is the easist things to maintain proper performance in your ride- which most people overlook. I made about 200 bucks one week just doing a bunch for a group of kids. Just get a good feeler gauge and a helms- takes about 15 minutes!!

value adjustment is very easy.
Just make sure that your engine is cold when you start.

the valve adjustment is pretty easy ... the only part i had trouble with was figuring out what adjust til you feel a "slight" drag meant but basically its pretty easy

If you set it to .006 make sure you can't slide a .007 in.

To get a feel of slight drag. put your fingers on the feeler gauge, but DONT squeeze. Just rest them on there. Then slide the feeler back and forth. that is roughly "slight drag"

That is the key to a good valve adjustment. Oh and make sure you know what TDC is and make sure you are it when you start adjusting.
