Default Value of stripped 2000 Si shell?

My 2000 si was recovered after theft and I am trying to get an idea of how much money I could expect to get for it if I bought it from the insurace company and resold it? I have included a picture. Car still has steering wheel, dash, carpet, front and rear bumpers, OEM front spoiler and side skirts, 4 wheel disc and everything else you can see in the picture. The crooks even left me with some new wheels lol. Body is still nice no accidents. Let me know what you all think. Thanks, Allen

Something's definately wrong if someone says $4k, then $5k, then $1.5k-$2k.

personally i can't see it bringing a lot. it would be worth about 10 to 12 in good shape right?

now we are looking at a stripper with most of the higher dollars parts long gone. as far as i am concerned it don't matter if it's an Si or a DX as a salvage title just straight sucks.

as a whole i would not pay more than 2000 bucks for it.

They took everything that made the car an "Si"

So as far as any honda enthusiast is concerned its just a stripped salvage title EK coupe.

is the shell is straight you might be able to get around 2,500 for it. But you just might make more parting it out, which by the way will take a long time.

So now you're just.....

I have noticed shell prices seem to be very regional. From being on this site as long as I have it seems to me that east coast/midwest does not value shells too highly (although that might be a relfection of the cars themselves).

I know around here I have seen some stripped cars (and I don't mean stripped like this car with the whole front clip and whatnot...talking stripped down to nothing) go for crazy prices. My friends in socal have had shells they were looking at turn into bidding wars (so the $800 hooptie *** crx shell ends up going for $1500 because 4 people want to buy it).

Anyways, all that to say: its worth whatever the buyer can get for it

I can't speak for Miami, but that thing would fetch 2500-3k w/o a sweat around here. More if you were willing to sit on it for awhile (to wait for the right buyer).

I say just buy it back and make a SFWD car

I would say $1500-2500 depending how lucky you get. There was one for sale for like $2000 with air bags gone.

You could put like $5000-6000 in there and sell it for like $13000 prolly

Oh darn they took the lameass seats and the torque monster B16A2 that'd more than likely end up burning a **** ton of oil like sooo many I see anyways. Buy that bitch back, throw some CTR recaros, some rims, and an ITR swap and your good to go.

This one is selling for $3000 and still has the motor
and interior. It only has 19k miles on it. I would say $2000 at the most for yours.

I would part it out. then get rid of whats left. You can pull like 300 for the front end, 350 for the brakes, sell the airbags to a junk yard, sell the dash and doors, and trunk. and that about sums that up. Some junk yards will pay like 500 for the airbags

I went to a local honda/acura junkyard a few years ago and found a 99-00 blue si shell. only thing missing was the engine, tranny, all the seats, and the rims. everything else was still intact. the guy told me I could have it for $1000. hope that helps.

i say the same. si or not, looks like most of the si parts has been stripped out. the only thing si about it now is the vin haha. sorry to break it to you, but i think you'd be lucky to get 2000. let the insurance keep it. i think buying it back and trying to sell it, you're gunna have a headache. you dont know whats done to it, what the theives fucked up etc.

Yeah since the DX, LX, and EX have rear discs, and that color, and a rear sway bar. I'd definately pay $2000 for that maybe more.
