VAFC

VAFC
I'm looking at building my civic for racing and the project's waiting right now because I can't afford to build my motor yet. Right now I'm running a super with a 6 pound belt, and I've done the intake/headers/exhaust already.
My question is would it be worth it to buy a vafc to use til I build the motor and put my safc on it, or will I be so limited because I'm running a stock d16 that I wouldn't be able to push it much more without blowing my motor.
If there's more info you need just let me know, I'm still pretty new to this.
