Default vacuum lines

does anyone know how many vacuum lines there are on a d15b or d16z6 for that matter?

im trying to hunt down the reason behind my surging idle.
IACV clean, FITV cleaned/tightened, coolant properly pressurized, compression is fine, and valve lash is to spec, which leads me to a vacuum leak. i tried the old aerosol spray and look, as well as tried using smoke, but couldn't find anything.

I even replaced my IACV, still no bueno.

TIA

tps was changed a lil while ago... it was bad before but didn't show signs like this.

could it be a bad dizzy part? i think my coil has been going for a while, but im too broke to buy a new one.

doubt it. a bad dizzy will cause your idle to drop, not really to surge though.

yeah wtf is that about, i replaced my IACV and my FITV, but no luck. i recently replaced my HG, head, camshaft, tbelt and all of that ****, including IM gasket... the only thing i can think of is that a vacuum line got crimped or cut with i removed it and pushed it back to get the head off and to get my gasket off/on.

my spark plugs have this kind of brownish red color to them, i cleaned em up a bit with some carb cleaner, as well as my o2 sensor, because it was BLACK. heres a pic:

im going to post another thread about the sensor, just seein if its related.

on a side note: my car cold idles fine at 1500 then it goes down to about 750-800 then it SLOWLY starts to fluctuate between 1-1500 rpms.

i would keep solvents away from the o2 sensor.
also those wires don't look too good where they come out.
you might want to get a new one.

very possible, sends signal to ecu.
but the way yours looks, it should be replaced just because of the wiring.
