v tec problem HELP
i got a 95 civic with a d16z6 in it and i put the p72 obd1 ecu on it and my vtec wants to kick in at first and then when it jumps a couple of times it will engage but i am wondering why it want kick in and stay that way because when it does that it will sometimes cut the car off and take forever to get started back..??
I had to pin out the harness because it wasnt vtec so i did with A4 and D6 on the plugs at the ECU and i am just wondering what could be my problem any help would be appreciated

A p72 will not be fine. The fuel maps are far off, The p72 is looking for secondaries. Your motor is probably having a heart attack at WOT.
You need to find a P28 Ecu.
