Default v-tec controllers

well i was looking at stuff on the web i came across somthing called a v-tec controller, it says u can control when your v-tec kicks in, sorry i dont know much about this area thats why i'm turning to you guys maybe you could give me a lil info about these so called v-tec controllers or maybe you've used one or have one, thank you for your time!

Yes, you can select where your VTEC crossover is going to be, but it's very pointless in moving it with a stock ECU, and without any/much mods to your engine.
