use stock exaust on eg/B18C motor for smog????
i have a 95 cx w/ a 96 B18C and i am getting it ready to go pass smog... was wondering if i found a complete EH3 exaust, would it bolt up to the motor??? Right now the header that is on it is a smog legal DC 4-1 2.25...
the problem is i need to pass smog, and i dont know what kind of cat i have. but it just went bad on my like three days beofre i was going to take it in... sounds like there is marbles in my exaust. I dont know what cat i have on it (im thinking its a high flo cat, i bought it with the exaust) and i know the GSR and B16 have different flanges... can somebody help me out on this one???

your exhaust won't make a difference on your sniffer test but your DC header will. replace that with a OEM cast exhaust mani before you go.

Or just get the BAR sticker with that header.......
Don't spend money you don't have to yet.
Go for a drive, keep the car running while your waiting to keep the cat as hot as possible.
If they fail you, then you will know that you didn't replace a good cat, your second trip to the ref is free if you fail the first time anyway.
