Default USDM b18c1 into si eg

My friend and I have been searching everywhere trying to find the info needed for a usdm b18c1 into a si eg. I have done searches until I went blind and just need some wiring questions answered please!

Can I use the obd2 wiring harness that comes on the motor? Does in plug into the shock towers (I have read it does) if so then what ecu do i use? Does this wiring harness plug into the p28 chipped so i dont have to wire a knock senor or do I need a obd 1 p72? Also where do I run the wire for the secondary butterflies? I believe that is about it for the wiring aspects I just don't want to cut up my si harness and splice the gsr harness into it if i don't need to. Lastly can I use my eg throttle cable or do i need the gsr cable?

Also just for ***** and giggles has anyone ever run this motor bone stock in the quarter if so what are some of the times?

Thanks for any help I know everyone says to search, but I am just not finding the specific answers I need.

I have a 93 si hatchy . I just put a 95 gsr in it and took it to the track bone stock ........ Everything stock even the tires and exhaust and ran a 15.0 not even ripping it off the line . If it wasnt my street daily driver now I think I could have broke into the 14's if driven harder . Im getting a skunk2 intake manifold , jdm type r 4-1 headers , ocld air intake , and slicks and hope to hit mid 14's

ive herd that it plugs right in since dc2s still used the same plugs for all years... shouldnt be a problem, ive seen a obd1 del sol with a obd2 wiring harness and distributor... worked ok. dont wire the butterflys if your going to use a p28, it wont recognize them... peronally though, you can use your 92 si harness on the gsr motor and it will work fine, just relocate the o2 sensor to the back of the motor instead of the front. hella easy...

oh yea, you might wanna use the gsr throttle cable too cause its longer than the stock one, the gsr cable needs to be routed different than most other honda throttle cables.

yes it does directly bolt up 97-01 gsr in 94-94 dc2 and 92-95 eg. Depending on what year the motor is out of you need run your own tach wire. i just dropped a 01 GSR in my 95 GSR and started up 1st turn...

So it sounds like there are a few different ways to wire it up. So if I use my si harness all i have to wire for is the o2 sensor (lengthing the wire) the injectors should be fine? How about wiring to the obd2 distributor then? I will probably skip wiring the secondarys and save for the skunk2 mani. I want everything looking clean and stock so i dont want to hack up the distributor wiring too much.

dont extend your o2 wire. just take all the electrical tape off and the wires already come with enough length so that you can just "relocate" the plug to the rear of the motor. a lot easier than cutting and butt connecting or soldering. just tape up the harness when your done... with the SI harness, you will have to rewire the distributor plugs. i forget if the colors are the same on both the motor harness and the distributor. if they are then just go by color matching and solder the obd2 connector. good luck with your project...
