USDM B18c into 96-98 civic ex. what wiring?
what wiring will i need to do to finish up this swap, i've heard it was pretty much plug and play and you have to extend certain wires that don't reach but please list any resources that you have. i was under the impression that the usdm plugged right in as opposed to the jdm one that required a lot of wiring.

There isn't much of a difference between the JDM and USDM at all.
Mainly less sensors on the JDM B18C and slightly higher compression.
Either one will pretty much be a plug and play process....if there is one when swapping engines.

you need to modify your stock harness. you will have to solder in the injector clips for sure. I did jdm so im not sure if you will have to extend the o2 sensor wires or not, or if you will have to change over the distributor plugs.

Re: (leadtrum)
All I can say is, what saved my *** the most was keeping the stock harness on my motor and pulling the motor out with it still on. Then I placed both motors on the ground next to each other and labeled all the connections. It was only after I knew what was going where and what might need to be extended did I actually connect up the wiring harness.

Yup just what Dantastic said. What would really help u is if you have the shop manuals. I did a 96 auto to a 99 Si manual and i used the 96 harness.

That's my link and it's all you need to get the motor in the car and running correctly.
Half these peeps didn't even bother to check it out.
