usdm b16a2 into 93 eg si help!!
Okay. I search this whole site and every other site looking how to swap a usdm 99-00 si b16a2 into a 92-95 eg si and can't seem to find a decent one "the one I usually find are for dx,vx,cx" . I just need some info on the things I really need and dont need "dont want to spend money, if the stuff I got works already". I need help not attitudes about searching for more info or go b18 or bigger.
Okay the Items I have for this swap is
USDM b16a2 engine
USDM b16a2 tranny
Complete engine harness
axles
halfshaft
ecu
headers
shift linkage
ac/ps
Pratically the complete swap. "everything"
I heard that you should use the wire harness you already have in your car to wire up with the engine, just curious if i need more wiring for extra sensors. For sure theres going to be some wire switching but i need to know if it will plug right into the usdm b16a2.
If you got a site that shows how to swap a usdm b16a2 into a 92-95 si it would be great. Thanks

B16 a2, so 99-00 SI swap. That is obd2 and the distributor plugs and injectors are not going to mate up to your obd1 harness. If you get obd1 distributor and injectors then it's easy. Use the stock SI wiring harness, cut some of the wire loom to reach the O2 plug to the rear to the B16's O2 location, add one wire for the knock sensor and your done.
Best bet is to check the Hybrid section and you can get more specific answers to your questions.
