USDM B16a2 head on JDM B18C GSR block help
Been doing a bunch of searching so please don't point me at the BIG RED BUTTON.
I have a 97 hatch, DX with a B16a2 swap, ITR cams and ITR intake mani. Was thinking of getting a B18C JDM GSR block and swapping the B16 head onto it. Kinda poor man's type R deal.
Question is, I've read that I may need a new oil pump, header and drivers side motor mount. The header I have now is a DC 4-2-1. True?
Would I also need to run a diff ecu, I now have a usdm gsr ecu obd2a but I also have a chipped P28 with a tuned CTR map and conversion harness. All I've read up on doesn't exactly answer the questions I have or no definite answer.
Might I be better off finding a usdm gsr block?
