Default USDM 97' GSR into 96' Civic DX 4 door

I researched and did not find a direct answer to this. I was told by a shop in our area that there might be an issue with this swap into this car. In particular making it emissions legal. He said he was not sure if DX had what the EX did. I just wanted a emissions legal perfect running dd swap for my Civic, thus the question. Everything I read, seems it is not an issue. Motor is OB2 and the car it is going in is OB2, so will there be an issue? Thanks for help.

should be cool.
as long you dont have any engine code and the motor is running cool. all they do at the emission place is hook up the obd connector

it should be fine. there has been hundreds of ppl that did the swap before. you use your stock harness and have to wire in some sensors.
