hello out of the blue last night, my window was rolled down and i tried to roll up the passenger side and it wont rol up. driver side works though. is there a fuse that controls this? i hope its not an actuator or motor problem, and if it is does any1 have a guide of how to replace it? thanks! its raining season + winter coming so i need this fixed ASAP!!! thanks!!
btw if it matters, i drive an em1, so if some1 can find a guide for that model. thanks!!!

well honda windows are pieces of ****. made of plastic. but when it gets this season the window will get harder to roll up. im not sure from condensation or what. but theres 2 screws one behind the hand;e and another by the speaker. you just pop it off and you can see if your trimmings off, or if its the motor

the trimming of your window is the rubber around your door and the window. the trim is why your car doesn't get flooded when it rains. im assuming you have power windows? take your door panel off and then take a look. its 2 screws

i took off the panel, and no it was perfectly on the slider. when i press up or down on the switch, i dont hear any motor noises, just quiet. im thinkin it could be the switch or the motor. however i want to start with cheaper parts rather than buy the motor first. is there a way how to tell if its the switch?

i unplugged the switch, cleaned it, still didnt work. i connected some wires from that were connected to a battery and put it into the copper slots (where the switch goes into) and i can hear "motor" noises is that a sign that the switch is bad or is it still motor?

I know this is going to sounds bad but have you tried to tap it or hit it with a rubber mallet? I know when I worked for Honda we would have this problem a lot right around this time of year. Basically it just gets stuck and needs a lil help getting going again just hold the roll up button and tap the door with the interior trim off right where the motor is with a rubber mallet not to hard though or you will dent your door lol. Also we would have the contacts on the switches go out and motors and even sometimes regulators would bend from the increase in resistance while using your window while its cold out. It could be any of the above just trying to give you another attempt before you start throwing parts at it.

I cant seem to find my picture of it but if you can take one of the switch outside of the car and take the back off it I could show you. Also you could just find the schematic online and jump the right wires and the window should roll up as long as the key is in the run position. That is if the motor/regulator isnt the problem.

To the OP
Be Careful !
Take your passenger side door panel off. Go get a car battery. You need to run positive to positive, negative to negative to the plug from your battery..!!WATCH YOUR WIRES!!.. That should either roll your window up or down i can't remember. If it rolls it up Yay! If not and it rolls them down switch them and it will roll them up.
That's just a quick fix to help keep water/rain/snow/thieves out lol..
Then you need to go to your local salvage or wherever you choose and buy a new DRIVER side switch.
If you need help just PM me.
