Default Urgent...quick shock question

Quick question...i just finished installing rear shocks on my 00si...i think i might have messed up...just need to find out if i have to go re-do what was done...the driver side rear shock's threaded part faces towards the front of the car...on the passenger side shock the threaded part faces the rear...i put the shocks on with both threaded parts facing the front of the car...will this make any difference?...it seems like it should be fine....but i just wanted to double check...thanks for any help...

By this do you mean the welded on nut on the bottom of the shock that goes to the lower control arm? If you put the shocks on so that the welded nut is on the front side of the lower control arm facing the front side of your car then you are fine, that is the way it is suppose to be.

yea thats correct...the welded part...because when i took off the shock...the driver sided welded part was facing toward the front of the car...and the passenger side was facing toward the rear...when i put them back on i put both welded parts facing toward the front of the car...i just didnt know if it made a difference or not...i didnt think it would but just checking...i just wanted to find out quickly so i could finish...thanks for the quick response...
