Default URGENT... PROBLEMS DROPPING THE TRANNY.

im having problems the trans from the engine. all bolts are removed. need help asap thanks,

Prybar it appart.

Did you make sure to get all the bolts that are behind the motor area? Like around the bitch mount? I always end up forgetting one back there and its scary to get when the tranny is ready to fall.

Try Taking off the Starter and all the braces.

did you take the starter off?

if not...that is your problem

trans is sitting on input shaft, pry slowly. It will come off.

don't lay underneath it when u do this either... i once saw some horrible pics of a nose from that.

You don't need to take the whole starter off - not on a D-series anyway. You do however need to remove the lower starter bolt as that threads through the tranny and into the block.
