Guys I have a 92 crx vtec and I'm having trouble I can't figure out, I'm not really good on vtec engines, my rev taco starts going crazy after bout 3,000 rpm and my engine seems good when car is cold, then just runs real bad and sluggish when warm and after turning car on when the car has been driven it takes a while to start, and one more thing my spark plugs n leads are new but I realised after touching one of the leads it have me a big electric spark shock and and if my cars on and I slam my bonnet closed my revs Jump and go back Down PLEASE HELP ??

We would love to help but if you are an absolute beginner, you should google 12volt circuitry and learn basic knowledge. Also, you will often need to know how to use Google, voltmeters, and factory service manuals.

The only suggestion that I think you will be able to accomplish on your level is to:

Get your car to start the rough idling (warm it up if you have to)
Then, in pure darkness, pop your hood and look at the new sparkplug wires and distributor.
Do you see any tiny arcs of electricity going to anything metal?
If so, replace it because you arent supposed to be "losing spark" and that'll cause it to run rough.

Sorry we can't help more, but you have to have a basic understand of how things work. You have to know how to shoot before we can help you to aim.

By the way, are you sure what car you have? I believe Honda stopped making the CRX in 1991, and in 1992 Honda started making the "CRX Del Sol, but it is commonly called "Honda Del Sol." Any do you have the factory engine in it?
