URGENT HELP: 97 JDM ITR obd2 --> obd1 using p30 prob's???
Background:
I have a 96 Civic Dx HB. Motor is a 97 jdm itr. Previous owner was running obd1, and had obd1 ecu. The shop that is doing my swap is converting to obd2 to match my car.
My plans were to find a 96-98 jdm itr p73 and run that. All the wiring has been done to mate with that ECU perfectly. Unfortunately, I can't get a hold of the guy that was going to swap me ECU's so now I'm stuck with everything back to 97 itr spec (electrical wise) and a jdm 92-95 p30 chipped by Erick's Racing (which was being used before).
Question:
My question is, if i were to buy a jumper from jhp or jdmsh!t for their obd2-->obd1, will i be able to just plug and play the ecu and start driving? or would i have to convert other things back to obd1 (dizzy, injectors)?
P.S. I tried searching, but nothing specific came up. I might not have been searching corrently, but please help me asap.
