Default Urgent assistant regarding soaked carpet/leaking car (94 SI)

My car is leaking. The driver side front and rear carpet was soaked. I removed the carpet completely, and the tar from the rear section.

Under the pedals is a black rubber. Under that is some foam. The foam is soaked completely, fairly high up. Broguth it somewhere to have sunroof drainage holes unlcogged. Some leaves removed, but nothing else.

After current rainfall, both driver front, driver rear, and now passanger front is getting wet. The passenger front foam is soaked as well.

I don't even know, anymore, where to begin looking, as the sunroof drainage holes were cleared out. What could it be? I thought it was AC vaporator, but I haven't really used the AC (except to defog the windows), and the leakes happened after rainfall.
I have had the car for 4 months, I had not noticed this untill 3 weeks ago.

ANY help would be appreciated.

Sunroofs have drian holes in them that go outside of the car pour a cup of water in there and see if you see anything come out of the bottom of the car if you don't it is either Cloged or you have a hole in the drain somewhere

got any stereo work done??

A friend of a friends got a stereo installed in his BRAND NEW VR6 and the guys who did it didn't put grommets in on the firewall where they ran wires... first heavy rainfall and it flooded the car...

My trunk used to get all wet in bad rain where someone drilled into the trunk to mount an amp...

Stereo installers do WONDERS for the longevity of a car.

pull the pillar trim off and pour some water on the roofline by the antenna where the roof seams and the windshield meet. see if any water runs down that pillar from inside.

ohe yeah and have someone else pour water while you are inside with the door shut looking for the leak. if not you'll just pour water all inside the car.

hey, I know how you feel I had the same problem as you but on the passenger side. I just got it fixed today. So my mechanic first showered the car to see if water was still getting in and so that it would be easier to see where the water came from. So he took the wipers off completly on both sides with the hood open. then he took the plastic covering the lenght of the engine bay from side to side off ( where the screws of the wipers are you take it off) and to his suprise there was a hole there. The hole was about 1" wide. Also he took the fender off which made it easier too spot it hope it help and if you have any other questions fell free to ask.

I have only one power line through a grommet on a firewall, and the grommit is there, with the wire through it. No leak would be coming in there.

This only happens when it started getting cold, so there must be some issue of metal contraction. I am hoping bringing it to the dealer and mentioning the TSB might be worth the fix. It is hard to see the leak because of the foam and rubber that lines the front wall of the footwell. The foam absorbs water.
