Default upgrading stock drum brakes

after some research about upgrading brakes, someone told me it was quite a hassle to swap the drums of a civic to a 4 wheel disc.

Is it worth upgrading the stock drums? and what exactly would i buy to upgrade them?

also is it nesessary to upgrade brakes? i plan on swapping soon

Is it worth upgrading the stock drums?
Well ther's little gain of performance (stopping power) from the rear disc conversion. I got to chance to ride in one that had an Integra Booster and M/C (15/16 I believe) swapped before the rear discs were upgraded from drums. I noticed very little performance but nothing dramatic that'll make you jump out of your seat with joy.

My .02 cents ............

Personally I think the Integra booster and M/C is a great upgrade over the Civic's but that's about it.
