Upgrading the Brake Rotors and Pads...Need confirmation. Thanks!
First off, I hope this is the right forum.
Well, I have come to the conlclusion that it would do me good to upgrade my brake setup for just daily driving.(So no slotted this... and drilled that.... ) I ran through most of the searches and found some good info that helped me decide on this setup. But I still want to confirm it from you guys before I start ordering the parts. Basically, I would just like to know if this is ALL I really need. No, I am not planning on getting bigger calipers or a Master Cylinder. Thanks. The Car is a 97 Civic DX 2dr.
The plan:
2x AIMCO OEM Civic Si Brake Rotors from Autozone.
Axxis Ultimates Brake Pads for the 97 2dr DX (since I'm keeping my DX calipers for now) model from Cobalt Friction.
DOT 4 Brake Fluid
1.That's it. I don't think it's neccesary to get a new Master Cylinder or anything is it?
2.And will my dx calipers with Axxix Pads work on the Si Rotors?
3.This setup should work out nicely right?Or is there something I'm missing ?
4.Would I notice a considerable increase in braking power?
Thanks for All the help.

the ex and si have larger rotors that wont fit in the caliper for the dx
you'd have to change to matching calipers as well
plus braking is more in the pads, the rotor is just the median not the means
