Upgraded Internals?
Ok.
So there is more to discover about my project car.
I recently uncovered some sort of button and keypad that has been seen on some nitrous setups to trigger a boost and a friend of mine told me the clutch must have been tampered due to it's "no play" feel.
Now along with the custom no-cat exhaust it had on it when purchases and the removed gauge pods, rpm meters..... ect....
I think the internals could be upgraded... so how would I check this? and what would I be looking for?

I didn't get the car from the actual owner... the only evidence led me to believe it was a south philly hispanic man (from the given area and cd in the car)

what exactly would look different? just by looking for a brand name on them? and by head...valve cover? (sorry.. still learning a lot of things)

Re: Upgraded Internals? (slacks)
i really cant explain exactly what to look for.......search around on the net for pics of stock pistons and rods and c if urs r the same. the head....no not the valve cover. you have to pull the whole head and look at the top of the pistons. its not exactly an ez job for a NooB though.
