Default Updates on my Ferio wannabe....

Hey guys! I haven't posted in a while, been busy with work and all. For those of you that remember, I purchased another sedan a few months ago. I originally had a 93 white civic lx (which I got in 93) which was also auto. So I bought a 92 black civic ex 5spd. I now have 2 sedans. My wife now drives the white car since it's and auto. So I started to transfer the parts over, as well as what I have waiting in the garage. The bolt-ons are all transfered, so I started to transfer some exterior items as well as a few others that I had sitting in the garage.

Taken when I first got the black car...

Angled shot with 2/3Door bumper and Type R style lip.

I also transferred my black projectors and DIY black corners. Remember the 96-00 Civic sideskirts I put on a while ago...

Here are 2 more front shots of the lip and bumper...

I transferred the Ferio door garnish and finally installed the JDM wing.... Had that wing forever in the garage. I'm glad that the brake light worked...

I have the Type R rear lip like Maxboost and WestCoastStyle did/do, I will put it on once I have more time.

I know the car needs more done to it like being lowered, rims, paint job, blah blah blah... but I am doing this in stages. Just wanted to share with you all my progress so far! And I don't like the tint, but that's how the car was when I bought it. I will remove it later. The previous owner tried to take off the rear tint and fII(ked up the rear defroster grid.

Also for those that are wondering, those are my 4dr corner lights. I tried 2/3dr corners, but there was a very noticable gap at the fender.

Props to my other Ferio brothers for their inspiration. Remember I don't hate, I love 2/3/4 doors! I just happen to own sedans. :D

Looks good. Just get some rims and lower it.

What are the plans? Standard bolt-ons? Swap? Turbo?

Thanks man! I have the basic I/H/E already. I will start saving for the swap. B18C1 is the outlook right now. I plan on some Rota C8 or C10s.

Nice..I like it alot.

Just a quick question, was it hard to put on the rear spoiler for the Ferio? I have one sitting in my garage here that i need to put on? did you have to trim anything?

Hey Kev95lx,

All I did was drill the pre-drilled dstock mounting holes on each side of the trunk, as well as a big hole and a small hole in the middle for that white plastic stud and brake light wire.

Hahah thanks all! I know I've been getting mixed feedback on my headlight setup. That's cool. I will drop the car once I decide on which rims to get.

Thanks any2ny888,
I used 96-00 EK sideskirts from a sedan. The 2/3dr 96-00 only fit the 2/3dr 92-95 civics. Keep the EK sedan with the EG sedan skirts. I only had to disregard 1 white plastic clip and the rest fit fine. You can use the factory wholes in the front that screws into the fender, but it wont be flush since the EK fenders tend to bend out instead of straight. I eventually (before the pictures) re-drilled the 2 holes on the front so it would be flush with the 92-95 fenders. Really easy.
As far as the gap. There is a tiny gap when looking at the bumper directly from in front of the car. What I mean is, that the bumper is 1cm shorter on the sides compared to the stock sedan bumper. Like I said, really not noticable. I know it's not true jdm by me putting a 2/3 dr bumper on a 4 dr, but if the folks oversees can do it, then it's cool.

Here is the picture that originally prompted me to do the 2 door bumper conversion.

hahah Hey Mix and Bryon,
I respect your guy's input. I'm not ready to ditch the lights yet. But I still have my JDM's in the garage. At least the corners that is. I already sold my JDM headlamps, but if I go back, ebay will hook me up. Thanks!

I am confused. Can you write up how you got the 2 door bumper to fit your car. i have wanted to do this, but a guy I asked told me that he had to removed brackets and reweld this. It seemed like a total pain in the ***. So how did you go about it?
