Default UP-DATE: The project "del sol rebuild" is almost done, just needs paint and and a new body kit (not

Well for those of you who have been reading my posts for the las month, the car is almost done done! (as you can see below it needs some paint and i am waiting on my body kit, no flaming please)

for those who are new, here are links the the past posts:
First Post: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=449329
Stage 1: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=464330

Well i got the frame from a junkyard, a Top off e-bay , and a winshield from the same junkyard!
Total Costs (including tax and shipping):
Frame: $156.75
Winshield $104.50 (brock on the way home )
Targa Top: $240.00
Frame welding: $500.00

So my total negative ballance is: $1001.25

I took the car and all the parts i bought down to "Rolly's Customs" in fredricksburg VA, and had him do all the work. i asked him how long it would take befor i took ot down there and he told me three of for days, witch i was happy with, but after dropping it off i asked him again and he said about two days, witch again made me happy, then i get a call the next morning at about 11:30 from Rolly saying my car is all done and i can pick it up whenever i want.

to "rolly's customs". He did a great job on my car, you can hardly evan tell it's been welded when you look at the pillers on the inside, the outside just needs a little sanding and its done. The are a Great place to go, they can do ANY type of mettal welding or fabrication, I highly recomend them. there web site it http://www.rollyscustoms.com . (the buggy on there home page has a prelude engine in it. lol )

i have orderd my new body kit (mix of 2 kits) and i am buying the paint tommoro.
The paint is "electron blue" (you know, the color of the blue civic si's) with matalic flakes.

The body kit is a mugan front with a buddy club rear and sides. The rear is going to have the fins cut off and i'll fill in the holes, and the side skirts are gona have the fins on the top of each side that go behind and infront of each door cut off and filled in. (for that custom look )
Heres a link and some pics of the kit (ignore the first rear bumper): http://www.takeittothetrack.com/body%20kits.htm

Well here are the pics, hope you enjoy:

Thanks for the support everyone . to me and my car
Forever!

Doesn't the light conversion that you mentioned in your previous post require a diffrent hood? And if so why did you buy that one?

i am sorry to say that the light convertion isnt gona happen just yet. i had cl headlights and in order to make them fit i need to move or cut into my radiator. thats my stock hood, its just flat black. i am going to do an s15 light convertion this summer when i dropping a turbo powered ZC motor and an si/vx hybrid trany that i'm working on. thanks for the compliments.

ZC motor? Those only work in EF/ED Hondas.. if by ZC you for some reason mean B16 then cool

Why a ZC ??? why not do a Z6 from a 93-95 Sol for an easy drop in, and then do the "turbopanda" Hybrid Toyota/Honda Piston/Rod combo package for D16 engines.. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=207562 and boost it???

i was going to put a zc in it but i didnt know if it would fit or not, good thing i didnt buy it yet. i think i will do the toyota picton combo, i'v hear of it before but didnt know exactly what to do, i can get a d16y8 or d16z6 for cheaper then a ZC.
