Unknown springs need a name (pic)
A friend of mine found these springs in a box left to him by an autoparts store. There is a tag on them that says 12-250. I am assuming this means 12 coils and 250 lbs/in spring rate. But from the picture and the coilovers they are mounted on, does anyone know what these might be from/for? I know this is a shot in the dark, but this is all I have on them.

Maybe H&R? But I have no clue. What are those struts for? They aren't for a Honda are they...that top mount looks nothing like Honda mounts...

Re: Unknown springs need a name (tinkfist)
actually the numbers on the springs means
12= 12" long expanded height
250 = 250 lb/in linear rate
the spring diameter is 2.5" of course
judging by the looks they are HAL QA1 series springs

Re: Unknown springs need a name (scottg)
thanks scottg...i think you are right. i ended up on this site: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...rchtype%3Decat . these are a little weak at 250 lb/in and 12". but they have all sorts of heavy duty (450 and 600) springs for 37$ a piece which is not too bad. does anyone know if these are good springs?
peace.
peace.
