Icon2 Unknown Plugged Line

Under the hood of my 98 DX hatch I have a line that comes out of the air intake and runs towards the fuel rail but it's plugged. I bought my car a few months ago and it was always like this and nobody can figure out wtf it was for or why it's plugged.

Anyone know?

well being it has a intake (aftermarket) that hose does nothing...

remove the hose from the vehicle completely. on the chrome intake pipe you will have an open nipple there, block it off.

Or you can just leave everything as is...it is doing nothing at all the way it is. if you remove it you will have less clutter in the engine bay.

I would give the the full description but being you have an intake it doesn't matter now...

i'd be more concerned with that cardboard looking idle air control valve "gasket"...
