Hello HT, I have a 92 eg hb, and I was wondering how you would go upon installing one of them $8 universal rear third brake lights ? Should I cut the third brake light harnesses, and splice them up to that. What do you think ? I have the spoon style cf duckbill with no third brake light, and $8 is better than paying for a ticket. Any help is much appreciated.

You can use blade connectors and plug into the harness without cutting it up. Or find a connector that fits into your stock harness and plug in your third brake light wires into there for a 'plug and play' deal. Not too difficult.
