Default Universal Mufflers

How many of you guys are running on Universal Mufflers. I know there kinda ricey and cheap but i mean i just want something other than my ***** stock pipe. Are all of the universals really loud or do some have a nice low tone to them? Thanks.

I had one that was deep but loud. It was an R1. I liked it for a couple weeks but as soon as I put my header on there it just had too much flow and began to break up inside making a rattling noise. A lot of universals do this. Just save up and buy a good catback.

not all mufflers are ricey....there are very many good muflers out there...Apex and 5zigen are very good mufflers..however they both can be very loud...my personal favorite is the ES oval muffler...looks stock..sounds deep..has a very crisp and tuned sound to it...i love it..and i have it myself running 2.25 inch custom catback piping...
