well is there a specific universal muffler you have in mind... cause i have a custom system on my 89 prelude Si... and it consist of 2.25 piping to a universal DNX muffler... sounds pretty good... but louder then hell... i dont drive the car now because it burns M@D oil....

alot of it has to do with 1. the size of your piping, and 2. the size of your muffler.
larger mufflers sound better, those small canister mufflers you see all over are the ones that sound ricey.
