In order to uninstall you would have to trace those back to where the ECU wiring was cut. That plug and play wiring should be sold with the VAFC. But I know you will have to re-make a few connections that the VAFC functions off of. Good luck and have fun..

Just go to where your ecu is and youll see the extra wires attached. Undo all the wiring from the harness. Note though, that there are 2 wires that will be cut you will need to reattch them. I sugguest soldering.

Also disconnect your battery before you even start this.

mine had been taken out before in my old Lude and I got water on my floorboard and had to pull the carpet and ECU and when I put the ECU back in the car ran like complete ****, during the process of removal I had moved the harnesses around and pulled the tape and stuff off where it used to be connected not knowing which one was causing the issue I ended up cutting every wire that had ever been touched soldering a new piece of wire in, then soldering it back to the wire, shrinkwrapped and taped, and once I was all done, it ran like a dream...if you do a shotty job you are risking some serious issues..like the other guy said one wire is spliced twice that one will DEF have to be extended...take your time you will thank yourself later.

Just to elaborate on what was said, I'd suggest getting the instructions for wiring the VAFC for your car/ecu and working backwards from there. Simply unplugging the VAFC and calling it a day would probably fall under the warning provided by apexi... "IMPROPER INSTALLATION MAY LEAD TO SERIOUS ENGINE DAMAGE," or something along those lines

So, should I have a professional do this? I really dont want "Improper Uninstalation Did Cause Serious Engine Damage."

No, you don't need a professional to do it. The warning is intimidating, but it's really not difficult to do at all. It's as easy as following a few wires and unplugging them from the VAFC harness, and plugging them back in together (or soldering if necessary, if the job was done half-assed). Plus the 2 or 3 wires that were cut originally and left dangling need to be soldered back together. Piece o' cake. Just get the install instructions and read it over, its straightforward.

Yea, it really isnt worth the $$. I would rather be chipped. All the V-AFC does is b/s the ecu....I don't wanna **** him off ya know

Nah if tuned properly it will worked great. I had mines tuned by XS Engineering and they tuned it on the dyno and when they where done my car perfomed better while giving me more mileage. Yes more mileage cause you can tune air/fuel with VAFC2

No adjustment of ignition maps to match the tuning the VAFC does.. Going Chrome here.

Please PM me your PM me your email if you want the diagram.

I gained 20whp after tuning with VAFC2. It does the job for fuelling but theres no point in messing with Vtec engagement point cos you can't tune ignition.
