Ok, what is everyones expirence with new lighter under drive pulleys? according to the makers, they sound great! but i recall reading something once that some one had a shaking problem after installing them or something? here is a link to the ones i was looking at

Re: Underdrive pulley (aphex23)
well if u want one i got a unorthodox crank pulley for 70 bucks w/ one belt. Its for a 96-00 but i have it on my 94 civic ex and works fine. Good decent hp for the buck!Have u noticed your car slows down when u turn your a/c on well this pulley will help your car drive faster and smoother.

the best pulley i found was from dh-racing.com. these guys really know what they are doing. i got my pulley from them and i made gigantic gains. they got 20whp from an rsx. my lights do not dim and nothing shakes. they have a wide variety of other parts and are extremely knowledgeable about honda motors. they helped me with many things and now i spank the competition. their pulley will definitely give you the most bang for your buck

I'm not saying what's true or not...
BUT...
If you search most will say that crank pulleys (like unorthodox's)... are NOT dampened or balanced as meticulously as stockers... so they CAN cause lots of problems... whether or not that's true I don't know... Many have said they have 10's of thousands of miles on one w/o problems other's say they spun bearings months after putting one on...
The "safest" one's to use would be AEM's as they only underdrive the accessories like P/S Alt. and A/C... however that's not very usefull for someone W/O any accessories...
Overall I don't think they're in-herintly evil or bad but I don't think I'd do one just in case they are...
They don't offer too much gain... it's more of a last little bit mod like a throttle body... not too many gains to be had until you're putting out high hp...

UO pulleys don't even have the correct timing marks on them.
Plus being undampened it WILL destroy you main bearings if the engine used a heavy pulley to begin with, like on a Z6 SOHC VTEC.
Stay with stock pulleys, get a lighter flywheel. You'll notice a bigger difference for about the same price.
