Under the dash
what is under the vinyl on my dash board? what i mean is, what is the vinyl glued to? is it plastic? the reson i ask is because i bought a tripple center gauge pod and it reguires me to screw it down to the dash. (BTW. i have a 1994 del sol)

its a layer of foam and then plastic. I bolted my tach to my dash that way and put a metal plate underneath as an anchor for the screws.
since what u are screwing into the dash is relatively lightweight you shouldnt have a problem with it falling out.
