ummm automatic trans question i really need help please
my 95 civic hatchback is an auto and the gear selector won't go out of park unless i use the key in that "shift-lock release" thing help me please what could be wrong?

Possible brake switch. Disconnect the connector at the brake switch (above the brake pedal) and jump/bypass the wires at the connector. See if the gear selector works. If it does than you know you need a brake switch.
