Post Ultimate 92-95 Civic L.E.D. Dome light

So I just bought a white 48 l.e.d. dome light that fits perfectly in the 92-95 o.e.m. Civic dome light housing. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good pic of it turned on in the car but it is very bright. Also like every other l.e.d. dome light it dosent go off completely unless you instal a resistor. I haven't given that a try just yet.

Here are A few pics for reference. 12 l.e.d. from superbrightleds.com vs. 48 l.e.d. from ijdmtoy.com I like the universal festoon that comes with the ijdmtoy better.

And the 48 l.e.d. in the o.e.m. housing fit's perfect.

I bought the ijdmtoy.com off ebay

yes just a faint glow. if i turn the switch on the dome light to off it goes off completely if i leave it on the door trigger it has the faint glow. That's the case for every led dome light I've seen.

what brand do you have? maybe yours has a resistor built in.

I'm using the 3022-xHP4 High Power LED Festoon Bulb (Cool White), from SuperBrightLEDs.com and it fades all the way to off. It's really bright too, I don't see the point in having a 48 LED strip when my 4 LED bulb lights up the interior just fine. At night with 5% tint, just using my remote trigger it lights up the interior enough to see in from the outside about 10ft away. It switches from 2 LEDs with Doors closed, to 4 LEDs when you have the doors open and then when it shuts off it fades comeplete off.

How old are we talking because I'm in my 30s. The 4 LED bulb is impressively bright for only using 4 LEDs,
I use the "cool white" or "daylight" type bulbs so they appear to be even brighter and are a much cleaner light
than your typical soft white/yellow looking ones. Alot of people don't like that white white look, I prefer it.

Side note: It shuts completely off, using keyless remote/door trigger.

Now on another note, I haven't checked but can you replace the front overlight light (next to the rear view).
I need to pull off the cover and check to see what type of bulb that is. Right now, I'm using the same type
of bulb for the center dome light and trunk.

I have no clue on that one. You will have to check one of the led sites for a fitment guide.

I bought these on eBay and fit 2 in the dome. just wired them together. then I bought 2 more for the map light, and 1 for the cargo light. Pretty damn bright and for the price, EXCELLENT.
