UKDM/EDM Ecu in USDM Civic?
Can you use a UKDM or EDM Ecu in a US Spec EK/EJ9 Civic?
The reason I'm asking is because UKDM/EDM Ecu's have Immobilizers that use a transponder key, US & JDM Ecu's didn't have this feature afaik.
I know a lot of Americans unfortunately have had their EK's stolen, This would prevent a lot of thefts.

If you bypassed the immobilizer you could use an EDM ECU. The ECU is no good without the keys, key ring, etc and the cars here aren't wired for it. It wouldn't prevent any thefts anyway. Most of the guys stealing Hondas bring an ECU with them in case the owner takes their ECU inside with them.
