Default U guys ever tried this ?????????????????

Hey guys and gals, have u guys ever tried installing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and turning the fuel pressure to 22-24psi? is that safe enough for a DD? after i adjusted it to that psi, i drove the car with my brother and it idled fine, accelarated fine also and when i opened it up, it sounded great, my MPG's were way better also,(i had a lot of intown driving) and that killed my MPG's. But its ok to run it like that right??????

x2. think about what your doing... messing with the stock settings on a stock motor... probably not a good idea. granted, it works for a while, but that doesnt mean its a good idea. its like turning the boost up too high, ya its fun and it runs fast, but the fun will come to an end faster than the car was running. honda sets things the "best" stock and legal, way.

22-24psi is around half the stock pressure, you're running the engine dangerously lean. If not impossibly lean. (engine death is not far off)

If you want slightly better mpg, drop it a few psi, not 20-25.

most honda's are between 38-42 PSI stock so go ahead and run that fuel pressure

Well do this, check the color of your spark plug. pull them out and see. if they are gray or white it NO good. if there like tarnish or brown color. your ok. if they are melted i know a guy that sells motors cheap.
