i have a 99 si and i have a type r sway bar with all bushings, brackets and links. i know you need some kind of aftermarket mounting plates or tie bar to mount the sway bar. has anyone done this swap and used the beaks products reinforcement plates. if so is that all i need to mount it or do i also need a different tie bar to mount the brackets to.

Yes, the beaks kit is all you need.

I swapped my stock 14mm Si Swaybar with a JDM 23mm ITR swaybar.
I used the stock ITR D-brackets w/ bushings, Stock Endlinks, and the Beaks kit.
1 year later and she's still stiff like on rails.

so if i buy that beaks kit how does that mount to my car with the bigger sway bar brackets. what i mean is how do the holes line up?

No, The holes don't line up.....That's what the beaks kit is for.
You will have to drill two holes in the subframe so the longer bolts that come in the kit can anchore the D-Brackets to the proper part of the frame, It also sandwiches the subframe making it much stiffer for the torque being put on by the Swaybar.

The Beaks Website put's the discription in better words.
"the SRK-EK is proven effective in safeguarding the vehicle's subframe structure. Due to thin construction of the sheet metal, mounting hardware often shear off and destroy the swaybar mounting points, resulting in expensive repairs. The SRK-EK provides reinforcement from both the front and the backside of the mounting points. Loads are distributed over a large area, which helps reduce the stress and effectively prevents sheet metal failure."

I have installed 6 of these kits (two on my own personal cars ....'99 Ls Integra & '00 Civic Si) in the past couple years and have to say.....It's a great design, Cheap upgrade, And will prove a Day/Night differance in handling.

A++ IMO.

BTW: The Beaks kit/Swaybar install should be done by two people.
Shouldn't take more then an hour to install and is very easy/straight forward.

ITR bar and ASR brace here - far superior to beaks kit (pretty much guarantees never to tear, even with 32mm bar)

Brakets I used were 22mm (7/8") urethane bushings with mounts from prothane
