type R parts on my new eg
Ok so i own a 98 usdm type R and i have some parts laying around i was wondering if i should put them on my 92 eg vx and if they will fit. The first thing i have is the stock suspension from my type R. Will it fit and is there any benefit to putting it on my eg. i need to lower the eg so should i take out the springs and use coil over and the type r struts? I also have usdm type r seats will they bolt into my eg or do i need the rails switched.

He could have put aftermarket suspension and seats (or JDM) on his R.
To OP: The front seats bolt up without any problems. For the suspension, the fronts go in fine, the rears you will need ITR rear LCAs.

The suspension will be stiffer. It's worth it depending on what you'll be using the VX for. If you want to spend an extra $50 (for the ITR LCAs), to replace the original (and probably worn) VX suspension, then do it. It will handle a little better at the most. You'll need to put on sway bars to get the suspension's full potential. If the VX is a beater and don't give a crap how you drive it, then it's probably not worth the extra $50 and leave it alone.
