Default type r ecu in a eg

my jdm b16 motor cuts out at 120 mph and i dont want to chip my ecu will a type r ecu plug in to my eg

You'll need to get an OBD1 to OBD2 conversion harness.

you're probably running a JDM ecu then. i dont think the USDM P30 has a speed governor or cut off.

Of course you can't run the P30 if he wants those 10 extra ponies. The question is why he wants to go faster than 120 MPH.
