type-r cams in civic
#2
If I am deciphering your apathetic grammar correctly, then yes, you can at least use Civic Type R camshafts on a USDM B16A2 as direct replacements (probably even ITR cams but I'm not sure of the specs) but you probably won't get the most out of them without a tune.

ITR cams are about a 8-10whp gain on a stock B16..and i watched a dyno test that proved it That's one of the first things I would do if I had a B16

We're are discussing camshafts, not pistons.

Torque? It's a B16A, we don't need no stinkin' torque!

Re: (underb00steg6)
ive had 00-01 itr cams in my b16a civic for 50,000 miles and on stock valvetrain. i went to 3 HPDE track days and have probably bounced off the rev limiter 30+ times during each of those track days and i havent experienced any valve float.
