Two questions. Friend wantrs to drop 92-95 LS in 96 Hatch whats needed.
I have a friend that is going to drop in a 92-95 LS motor in the 96 Civic. What is all needed? Also since the motor is older than the car buy a few years is it able to smog in California?
I told them to get all mounts from a ls out of a 96+ integra and they should be set... Or is my info incorrect?

So the mounts need to be of a 96+ intgera so it will be a direct drop in their 96 dx. Also will the model be smog legal in california?

Re: (1baddc5)
its EMISSIONS and thats the same as smog.....and no the 92-95 doesnt apply to the LS...90-01 does but if the engine is older than the car you cannot pass emmisions... and the mounts wont aork you need 99-00 si civic mounts (i think i dont like EK's)

99-00 SI drive side motor mount bracket
99-00 Rear "L" bracket
everything else from shift linkage, axles, rear motor mount, and tranny mount will work.
as for emissions NO u will not pass emission cuzz the motor is older then the car unless u noe ways to bypass that then go for it.

You didn't spell anything wrong, you used the wrong word because apparently you've never read a book

Re: (Archidictus)
be sure you have the full uncut harness as well, integra mounts will fit as far as the upper tranny mount and rear mount, tho i do believe some EK's have the vertical driver's side mount, this will require u do but the conversion mount for about $150 or the L bracket for B-series, shift linkage (from an integra) axles including the half shaft. the rest should be plug and play!
