Default Two plugs on the back of the block

Anyone know what the single wire plug and the blue plug are, on the back of a d16y8 block?

single wire is the knock... the other one might be the oil sending unit

If you don't have the knock hooked up wouldn't it throw a cell?

yeah, if you wire up that knock sensor, the cell should go away. just run that wire to your ECU.

Other than the car not being in limp mode and the CEL going away, nothing. The oil pressure sending unit wire is useless acutally. It controls the idiot light and if that light comes on, your engine is LONG gone. So what I'm saying in a nutshell, hook up the knock sensor and it is your choice to hook up the oil pressure sending unit.
