two part question high idle and collision
hey guys, i've got a couple questions first my idle is really high, about 1.5K rpm at start up. when it gets warmed up it drops back down to .5K like normal.
secondly; my wife had gotten in a rear end accident during a rain and the front end is messed up a bit. not too bad but I'd like some advise on how to straighten it out. i'm not sure what its called but it is the metal frame up top the supports the rad and AC fans.

Re: two part question high idle and collision
First off, the idle you're describing is perfectly normal.
As for the bending, that's called the upper bulkhead frame. You can either attack it with a hammer until it's straight "enough", or replace it. The replacement part is roughly $200 from Honda.

The idle can't be "normal" it used to never idle that high and the AC on/off doesn't affect it.
